programlogoSelecting Audio

Audio is the fundamental purpose of the TubeHD program, so this topic has an importance if you are a beginner learning the TubeHD program.  What sets TubeHD apart from any other method of Video Playback, is it's built in Audio Decoders, that have the capability to either Decoder or Enhance the Audio Presentation.  TubeHD includes currently (version 1.1.0.0) over 4 Powerful Decoders from SRS Labs, and 1 Audio Mode from DTS (Spatializer)  - each Audio Plug-In has certain input requirements to take full advantage of its processor, but each can be used in any mode to enhance the stereo/mono playback.

Typically YouTube™ Video will be encoded in Mono Format - generally it is the presenter who selects the mode to be mono in the early beginning of encoding the clip.  So Decoders like SRS WOW HD would present a Theatrical feel from the mono input!  If you have stereo encoded content - you can take advantage of the 5.1 Surround to expand a CS (Circle Surround) encoded clip to 5.1 Channels from Stereo - or any Dolby Prologic clip can be expanded to fill original channels with decoders like the SRS Circle Surround II Plug-In.

At the time of this Help File preparation, GettySoft is currently in the final phase of our 5.1 Encoder fro YouTube™ Video - which will allow (2) Channel Audio to be played back in original 5.1 Channels - look for this release in early August of 2007!

Audio in TubeHD is present on the Main (Sound Board) as we will make reference to it through out the Help Files- Web Site - which is a basic term for the entry level audio selecting- below is a snapshot of the Sound Board-
